When AI generation is enabled, the composer shows a Generate button that creates an image or short video and attaches it to your post.

Generating

  1. In the composer, choose Generate.
  2. Pick Image or Video.
  3. Describe what you want, choose an aspect ratio (9:16, 4:5, 1:1, 16:9), and generate. Postbase suggests a ratio that suits your selected channels.
  4. The result is uploaded to your media library and attached to the post.
For video, you can also animate an uploaded image instead of starting from text.

Quotas

Generation counts against a monthly quota that depends on your plan. The Generate dialog shows how many images and videos you have left; at the cap it links you to upgrade.
AI generation is optional and only appears when configured on the server. On a self-hosted instance, set the provider key to enable it — see configuration.
